Hawkheadquarters.com, one of Simulationcricket.com's leading teams, has an unclear future, after the site has received a legal document from the Australian Football League stating they are in breach of copyright.

Site owner, Mocca, said the following in a posted statement:

"I get no pleasure from what follows. In fact, there's a great deal of disappointment about what I feel I must do.

I am in receipt of a legal document from the AFL. The essence of it is that we are in breach of copyright by using official AFL or Hawthorn FC logos, or photographs that depict these logos or even AFL jumpers.

...

But it's a lot of responsibility, and potentially a lot of risk, and frankly, I'm not prepared to take it any more. As a consequence, the message board will cease to operate in its current form within a week."

Whether a new Hawkheadquarters forum will be created, or whether this is the last we will see of the 2000 plus member site, remains to be seen.

HHQ members are treating the current Test match between themselves and Sitepoint.com, potentially as their last.

On a brighter note for the troubled fan forum, at stumps on day one of their inaugural Test match, Hawkheadquarters.com are in a promising position at 6/261. Glen Nugent also recorded Hawkheadquarters.com first Test century, his overnight score being 125. Buddy38 is also set to make a ton, currently on 90 not out.

Sitepoint.com's fisherboy, and allrounder SlitheryImp have caused the most damage, with 3 and 2 wickets respectively.
