After 3 days of slow, but steady, scoring at Rushton Park in Mandurah, the inaugral first class simulation cricket match has come to an end. New Cricketmxian's went in as slight favourites, with 3 players having had international experience.

BalladP2P.com bat first, and the New Cricketmxian's bowling attack, led by international players Protoman X and Burian, had no problems cleaning them up within 65 overs. Their score of 10/186 was unlikely to cause a batting attack including CricketMX.com opener, garmabeaneth, much hassle.

But things looked up for the BalladP2P.com team, when they took the wicket of garmabeaneth on the very first ball of the innings. After that, there wasn't a lot to cheer about. James404 made 34, while guitarjedi chipped in with 58. BrainToad and Sureno_5outh~T3x~WeSlAcO didn't make the impact they would have hoped for with just 3 and 20 respectively. But KrazyKid batted alongside the docs mum who had been at the crease since the 2nd ball of the innings. After batting into the third day, she finally got out to MickeyBen, LBW. Her 178, won her the man of the match award, and quite possibly a spot in the CricketMX.com first XI for the upcoming Test series.

At the end of the New Cricketmxian's first innings, Burian chipped in with 25, and String with 14. The were eventually bowled out more than half way into the third day, for 386 after 155.2 overs.

BalladP2P.com only had 37 overs left to bat, leaving a draw as the most likely result, but also a little bit of hope for New Cricketmxian's, as if they bowled BalladP2P.com out in 37 overs, they would win the match.

JASON, who was wicketless in the first innings, got the breakthrough 12 overs in, getting one past M3ta7h3ad (17), who was stumped by keeper KrazyKid. It turned out to be the only wicket they would get, with BalladP2P.com ending up with 1/107 after 37 overs, with Imagine_If not out on 61 from 119, and Leon unbeaten on 29 from 71.

BalladP2P.com's first tour match was drawn, they play a Twenty20 match against the New Cricketmxian's on Saturday.
