There was a great deal of interest in this ODI, especially by the crew at Webhostingtalk.com, who had a good series win in their last ODI encounters with Saintsational.com.

Losing the toss and being sent in to bat, Webhostingtalk.com made a solid start. Equentity - Jamie made his intentions clear, by smashing 17 from his 10 deliveries, including a 6 and a 4. But he became over ambitious on a superb delivery from Zcultfm.com strike bowler, Ace, and was stumped at the end of the 4th over.

Debutant, fremont, was very cautious, wanting to impress in his first match. Making just 13 from 27 deliveries, his spot is very much uncertain for Sunday's 2nd ODI.

Losing cabalstudios for 16, meant Cifra-Jay and Joseph_M needed to get the team back on track. They did just that, with 39 and 41 respectively.

Cifra-Jay and Oonth batted together for a short period, and Oonth and wicket keeper chrisranjana partnered as well. But losing Oonth for 25 proved to be the turning point in the match, when Webhostingtalk.com were 5/159.

Oonth edged a delivery from Ace to Zog which brought in the first of the tail-enders; arkin, who fell for a golden duck, dismissed in the same fashion as Oonth.

Slidey was forced to face the hattrick ball. He was given lbw, giving Ace his first ODI hat-trick. To make matters worse, PixelManual slashed at Ace's next ball, hitting high in the air, eventually to be caught by Zog.

Having crossed in the previous over, UnitedPakistan, Webhostingtalk.com's other debutant, faced the next delivery, from KingTigerII. He was the 4th consecutive batsman to fall for a golden duck, after hitting it to Cleetus in the outfield. The next time Zcultfm.com bowl, they are on a team double-hattrick, while Ace is 2 away from a double-hattrick himself.

Chasing 160 for victory, Zcultfm.com were definately in the hunt.

Zcultfm.com opening batter, Beef, wasn't able to adapt to the quicker form of the game, and found himself stumped on 5. Finnie on the other hand, had no problems, and made a top score of 48.

Both KingScott (18 runs) and Serj (29 runs) made starts, but didn't build on them. It was left to Chameleongirl, who is emerging as a fine player, to get the team on track again.

Losing jakeolsen for a duck, Zog for 6 and Aussie500 for 1, didn't help her cause.

It was left to herself and Ace, the star from the Webhostingtalk.com innings, to get the team over the line.

Ace played a vital role, making 10 not out from 12 deliveries, to get the strike to Chameleongirl, who went on to make 43 not out.

After 32.1 overs, Zcultfm.com managed to chase down the 160 required runs, with 3 wickets to spare.

For his legendary bowling performance, and his role with the bat, Ace won the Man of the Match award.
