Losing the toss was a blessing in disguise for the Zcultfm.com XI, with Beef blazing away from the word go, and Finnie taking it upon himself to bat through the overs.
Making 40 from just 33, Serj would have been pleased with the team at 1/64. But it was when KingScott came to the crease that Finnie came out of his shell.
They batted together for 23 overs, putting on a 119 run partnership. KingScott fell three short of a half century, while Finnie was on 95 not out when Serj joined him. Four overs later, Finnie celebrated his second century of the series, his first being in last weeks Twenty20 International.
Having reached the all important three figures, he started to smash Sitepoint.com's bowlers around the park, scoring 14 himself off one of fisherboy's overs.
But it was debutant, kiviniar, who made the breakthrough, dismissing Finnie for 116.
Serj batted throughout the innings, while others fell around him. Even Chameleongirl, who has only been dismissed once in her previous four ODI's, couldn't manage to pass 12.
Sitepoint.com's third batsman, Nicky, gave the side a glimmer of hope of keeping Zcultfm.com to under 250, with 2 consecutive wickets; jakeolsen and Zog for golden ducks.
Aussie500 put on 29 runs with Serj before being dismissed, while Ace was unbeaten on 1 at the end of 50 overs. Serj was unbeaten on 39.
None of Sitepoint.com's strike bowlers caused any real destruction, although kiviniar, on his List A and ODI debut, appears to be a promising prospect, with 1/43 from his 10 overs. He was also the only bowler, to bowl a maiden over.
Sitepoint.com allrounders, Nicky and Heman maximus, took 2 wickets apiece.
Sitepoint.com's first wicket fell in the 4th over, it was SlitheryImp for 13, who fell leg before to Ace.
DigitaL didn't last too much longer, falling for 15.
When Nicky fell for just 7, followed by iTechno for 13, the team was in deep trouble at 4/55, requiring a further 215 runs to win.
Heman maximus and Mike Empuria were left with the task of rebuilding, but when Mike Empuria was clean bowled by KingScott, Sitepoint.com were 5/60, and in bad shape.
HAWK stuck around, as Heman maximus continued to give the team hope. But both batsmen knew that they were the last of the specialist batsmen.
After a 67 run partnership, HAWK was given out LBW on 40.
At this stage, Heman maximus began to up the run rate, as he was rapidly running out of batting partners.
silentcollision played an important role at the other end, and even managed to add 24 runs to the score before becoming Ace's second victim.
fisherboy added 7, leaving bcr and Heman maximus together. bcr made a duck, leaving Heman maximus and kiviniar one final shot at victory.
In the 43rd over, Heman maximus' run came to end, caught behind by Zog, four runs short of a century. kiviniar was stranded on 9.
Zcultfm.com won the match by 40 runs, giving them a 2-0 series win. Finnie won the man of the match award for his century.
