Sitepoint.com will take on the winner of Sunday's semi final between MensaP2P.com and CricketMX.com, in the World Cup final, to be played on February 10th.

Sitepoint.com captain, Mike Empuria, has retained the same starting XI for each of their 6 World Cup matches so far. We're going to review everyones performance, one by one.

1. Mike Empuria (Captain)
Batting: 37 runs at 18.50
Bowling: 12 wickets at 22.92

Mike Empuria has led from the front, and with fisherboy, has taken apart opposition batting attacks. A former middle order batsman, he hasn't lost any skill since converting to a full time bowler, and his 18* in the semi final got Sitepoint.com over the line.

2. bcr
Batting: 24 runs at 4.80
Bowling: 9 wickets at 27.78

While bcr has never been considered among the elite of ODI bowlers, he has been a consistent performer. His experience alone brings a whole new dimension to the team, with himself and iTechno having nearly 50% more ODI's under their belts than their team mates.

3. conradical
No WC matches

4. Cronweb
Batting: 103 runs at 20.60
Bowling: 1 wicket at 47.00

Impressing in his ODI debut with 46, he hasn't quite found that good form since. Having played several Test matches though, he knows how to perform on the big stage, which will be important in the Final.

5. DigitaL
Batting: 183 runs at 30.50
Bowling: 1 wicket at 29.00

With 2 half centuries this tournament, he has been among Sitepoint.com's better performers... second only to Young Twig infact. If DigitaL can make a quick 30 in the Final, he has done his job.

6. fisherboy
Batting: 14 runs at 2.80
Bowling: 13 wickets at 20.00

As Sitepoint.com's most successful bowler in the World Cup, there are great expectations for him to perform well in the Final. With an economy rate just over 4.90 for the tournament, he has proven to be one of simulation cricket's best.

7. HAWK (Wicket Keeper)
Batting: 145 runs at 36.25
Stumpings: 12
Catches: 3

For a wicket keeper, HAWK has done exceedingly well with the bat. Her best innings, by far, was her 81*, against Banglacricket.com. Her wicket keeping has also been extraordinary, having completed 15 dismissals in 6 matches. Against Webhostingtalk.com in the semi final, she completed 6 stumpings, a feat believed to be an ODI record.

8. Heman maximus
Batting: 135 runs at 22.50
Bowling: 1 wicket at 20.00

Heman maximus has been fairly quiet during the World Cup, excluding his semi final performance of 65, which contributed greatly to their eventual 1 wicket win. If he is included in the team for the Final, he will be looking for a huge score, to secure his position for Sitepoint.com's next ODI series.

9. iTechno
Batting: 93 runs at 18.60
Bowling: 1 wicket at 14.00

iTechno has also been very quiet during the World Cup. He doesn't have a very high ODI average, but does bring a lot of experience to the team, and along with bcr, has played every game Sitepoint.com has participated in. Like Heman maximus, he will be looking for a big score.

10. khuldun
Batting: 65 runs at 32.50
Bowling: 8 wickets at 40.00

Probably more suited to the role as an all-rounder, rather than a number 11, khuldun has impressed with both bat and ball this series. His highlight most likely being his 51*, the record for a number 11.

11. kiviniar
No WC matches

12. Nicky
Batting: 38 runs at 7.60
Bowling: 3 wickets at 4.00

Nicky has been Sitepoint.com's biggest disappointment, with a mere 38 runs in 5 innings. She is likely to be first on the chopping block, unless she scores heavily in the Final.

13. silentcollision
No WC matches

14. SlitheryImp
No WC matches

15. Young Twig
Batting: 247 runs at 49.40
Bowling: No wickets

Young Twig was brought back into the team after many months out of the game, and shortly after being named Batsman of the Year for 2006. He has impressed everyone consistently this World Cup, and only cabalstudios (4) has scored more half centuries for the tournament (Young Twig has 3). He's the teams most dangerous batsman, and opposition batsmen must get his wicket early or risk being smashed around the park.
