Kallang Cricket Ground given ODI approval ahead of tomorrow's World Cup start - Jan 10

The SCA has recently given ODI approval to Singaporean venue Kallang Cricket Ground, after careful inspection and consideration.

While the Kallang Cricket Ground is suitable to stage important ODI's and hold large crowds, due to its location, The Padang may be the more commonly used venue for simulation cricket in Singapore.

It is expected that once the MRT circle root line to Kallang Cricket Ground is complete, accessability to the ground will be much easier, making it more suitable to hold simulation cricket matches on a regular basis.

The SCA believe a winning score at the Kallang Cricket Ground would be between 250 and 280 runs.
